Excellent seaside hotel in Italy.
Wonderful old world art deco hotel that makes you feel comfortable and at home. Nice furnishings, artwork, and multiple comfortable seating areas for relaxing. Excellent breakfast provided with table service. Well trained waiters and food was prepared fresh. Much superior to the normal buffet style breakfast you get at most European hotels. The room we had was nicely furnished with an easy chair, an antique desk and wardrobe. Modern updated bathroom was a real joy. The evening restaurant served us a late meal (9:30 pm) that was excellent.

Great hotel. Location was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the balcony on the fourth floor had stunning views. Breakfast was of a high standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here if visiting Viareggio again.

We arrived at the hotel to a lovely welcome at Reception. Check in was smooth, nice refreshments at reception set up throughout the day. The hotel has a homely feel to it,very clean, spacious. Food on the roof top overlooking the sea front is excellent. Breakfast in the most beautiful dining hall is exceptional,very good service from the staff. Plenty of choice of good and drink.

Lovely hotel staff were so welcoming and attentive from the reception , ladies on breakfast right through to the cleaners all polite and friendly we enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would certainly return the rooftop bar is an added bonus and is wonderful for watching the sunset

This is an excellent seaside hotel in Italy on the coast just west of Pisa. This art deco hotel has all the comforts of home. Several nice seating areas with comfortable chairs for relaxing. A nice evening restaurant and a wonderful breakfast area with table service, well trained waiters and freshly prepared food. Not your typical buffet style breakfast offerings you normally find in most European hotels. The evening restaurant is also very nice. Comfortable bed and well furnished room and updated bathroom. We will definitely be back and will recommend this hotel to our friends. Nice shopping area directly across the street and access to all of the beach activities.

A beautiful, traditional hotel with superb standards of service and excellent food offerings. We are especially grateful to the staff that gave us help and support when one of us broke an ankle whilst on the holiday........they went that "extra mile" in phoning around to get hold of some callipers for us and arranging the necessary transport etc. Thanks to all concerned

Just back home from two weeks vacation at the Palace Hotel, had a great time. The hotel is in a great location for the beach and bars, restaurants etc. All of the staff are fantastic, very helpful with special thanks to Gianmaria on reception for helping us with a small problem we had. The restaurant girls always gave a warm welcome at breakfast especially from Gabriella, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The room was kept spotlessly clean and was very comfortable. Lovely very long promenade for walking and only 15mins from the rail station to easily visit other cities. All in all the hotel was perfect and definitely deserves it's 4 stars. Thank you to the staff for a great stay.

What they liked · This is a beautiful old time glamour hotel. The location is excellent, the breakfast is a treat in the dining room and the staff could not be more helpful. The roof top bar is a great way to spend an afternoon reading a book with an aperitif or 2! What they didn't like · Rooms are a little small but lovely.
